From the multiple mentors I’ve had over the years in real estate, they have all said learn to follow your instincts. Although real estate is mainly based on facts, sometimes one needs to understand when something inside them sends a message to say no or walk away. The most important times to listen to this intuition is when selecting a new tenant or even as extreme as when being approached by a potential new owner. In business, being efficient and producing the highest quality of work is what will form success, if you feel something or someone is bringing you down or slowing you down, this may consume too much of your energy which will result in other missed opportunities. This is where you need to learn to let go and watch new doors open.
