The beginning of the year is normally the quietest for the real estate sector. Especially in the sales aspect, people are still adjusting after the festive season and are not yet thinking of making a large financial commitment. As for rentals, this never really stops as for example I leased a property first day back this year after the Public Holidays, date being 3/1/12.
